Job Description: Personal and Executive Assistant for Purveyors Media Group, LLC

Purveyors Media Group LLC, a newly established, mission-driven documentary film production company located in Washington, DC, is seeking a dedicated Personal and Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the company founder. Responsibilities include:

• Organization and Administrative Support

• Management of Correspondence, Email, and Digital Files

• Scheduling and Coordination of Travel Arrangements

• Research and Analytical Assistance

• Knowledge Management and Decision Support

• Project and Production Assistance

• Other Duties as Assigned

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional time management, reliability, and discretion, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite is required. Previous experience in film, media, or production is preferred but not mandatory.

The position initially offers independent contractor status for a six month period at 20–30 hours per week. Compensation is $1,000 per week and the position has potential to transition into a full-time employee role. 

This opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining both in-person (in Washington, DC) and virtual responsibilities. Infrequent travel (including international travel) may be required.

PMG is currently focused exclusively on our first project, the 12-episode documentary series, The Purveyors: Series One (with The Purveyors: Series Two currently in pre-production). In addition to this series, PMG has a robust pipeline for additional projects – including future series of The Purveyors, complementary documentary programming featuring chef-purveyors whose menus feature homegrown and homemade ingredients, producers of fine wines and spirits, artisans and craftspeople who create the tools, glassware, ceramics, etc., and other related content focusing on travel and hospitality storylines.
